The Mid-Atlantic (Broadband) Robotics Showdown - MARS is the first of its kind, one-day, off-season, out of this world event scheduled to be held at the Olde Dominion Agricultural Complex (19783 US-29, Chatham, VA 24531) on Saturday, October 6 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
MARS is being hosted by Team 5950, the Trojans. The goal is to offer up to 25 teams from within our surrounding localities, the Southwest District, and northern North Carolina, the opportunity to develop and build a stronger network within the Mid-Atlantic Broadband Alliance; encourage teams to test their robot and get hands-on experiences prior to competition season; and to showcase STEM education and related fields found in our Southside area.
